Now that we know that donations from just 7 people can amount to a large amount of money, and have a better idea of what we are looking for, we are continuing this project. Please consider helping the parish by donating your old jewelry, gold, and silver.

- Gold necklaces, charms, and lockets, earrings and mountings
- Gold coins
- Gold, silver, and platinum bracelets and watches
- Gold brooches and pins
- Scrap or broken jewelry with high gold content
- Platinum and sterling silver also accepted
All of us have heard the TV and radio commercials about bringing in your old jewelry, gold, and silver to a store and turning it into money. We would like you to consider that possibility as a way to help the parish.
On the weekends, we will have a locked box by the sacristy (that is by the door coming into church from the parish center foyer) where you could donate any items that you think will have some value. If you wish a receipt for your gift, please place your donation in an envelope with your name and address, along with a request for a receipt.
We are not sure what revenue this will generate, but if 100 people give us an item with a value of $10, that would produce $1,000 for the parish.
We will collect these items for 4 weeks.
